The Big Tumbles Show!

Well today was the kid's big gymnastics (tumbles) show. It was Alyssa's 3rd year and Mikey's first! (You might recall Alyssa's second show or even her first) It was a very exciting day. Alyssa, now being fully aware that people come to watch her, was MORE than excited this year. Obviously Mikey had no clue what was going on, but it was fun just the same. Alyssa did a fantastic job, doing everything by herself! Mikey also did a good job, although Mike definitely had to coax him along! I think he was a little overwhelmed with the large crowds. We are very proud of both of them! A big thanks to Uncle Scott for taking all of the pictures and our video as well!

They both wanted to do the trampoline as their special event. WHY NOT??? What kid wouldn't love bouncing like a mad man on a huge trampoline! Alyssa loves to show off her "BIG JUMPS" and Mikey is following along right behind her!

After the show, everyone went over to Mum's house to hang out and celebrate the kid's big day!

Having a heart to heart with Grandpa

It really was a great and exciting day. Alyssa loved watching the following acts, knowing that next year, she'll be in the independent class. A little tear may have come to my eye as I thought about this being my last show with my baby girl, but I'll be in it again anyway with my baby boy! I love how Alyssa is learning how proud we are of her and is proud of herself for how much she has accomplished. All in all, a great day!

Until next time,
Mike, Jen, Alyssa, Mikey, and Sammy
