2 months old!

Here is Tyler at 2 months old! It feels like yesterday I was writing his 1 month old blog. With all the holiday celebrations, time just flew right by.

This past month we sure did a lot. After getting back from VA beach we rolled right into the Christmas season. The kids were stoked to decorate the new house. I won't lie, I was excited to buy new things and deck the house out. Since moving in, Alyssa has stated many times that she wants a 10 foot Christmas tree. Well that's exactly what we got! And I may say it looks stunning!

Of course we went to go see Santa and tell him everything that we wanted!

The kids were counting down the days until Christmas Eve. It finally came and we all went down to celebrate Tyler's 1st Christmas with his Great-Grandpa, Papa! We had a great time.

Driving home we noticed a wonderful surprise, it started to snow! Alyssa was ecstatic, because she told us this morning that she was wishing for a white Christmas in our new house!  When we returned home from dinner, we were shocked to find that Mr. Elf had left us presents. New Christmas jammas and a new book! The kids were sooooo excited! We then left Santa his milk and cookies and put out the reindeer food so Santa could find us!

Then came Christmas morning. Alyssa was awesome! So was Tyler. Mikey however, seemed to be exhausted because he wanted nothing to do with Christmas (what kid doesn't want to open presents!?!)
Woke up to a white Christmas!

After Christmas, but before New Year's we decided to make our annual trip to the city. This year Uncle Scott and Laura came with us! Because Tyler was with us we kept it to just Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center and the Tree, and then dinner. We all had a great time!

We then celebrated New Year's in our new house. We had great party. The same crew came which made it even more special. It was nice to ring in the New Year with great friends and family.

Tyler has been doing well. He loves tummy time and is doing a great job of pushing up and holding his head. He is almost able to roll over all ready. He is a happy little boy and loves to look around and be a part of the action. He is growing like a weed. His 2 month appointment was cancelled due to weather, so we'll see for sure in 2 weeks. He is almost completely out of 3 month clothing though! We are definitely in a routine now. He actually just slept through the night last night. I fed him at 10 and he didn't wake up until 5! He ate and then right back to sleep until 8. So things are falling into place. Now that the holidays are over, we hope to relax a little.

Until next month!
Mike, Jen, Alyssa, Mikey, and Tyler
