The Duarte Family: 1 month old!

1 month old!

Wow how time has flown! Tyler is already 1 month old. He is doing great, along with everyone else.

It has been an exciting month. Tyler had his first Thanksgiving which coincided with his first vacation (our first vacation as a family of 5!)! We were able to do a little relaxing this past week in Virginia Beach. It was hard being away from the rest of the family, but we had a great time just relaxing the 5 of us.

Tyler sure is growing. He had his 1 month check up today and he has already grown 1 inch to 23.5 inches. At his last visit he was 8 lbs 14oz. (they always lose a little weight right after birth) This time he was 10 lbs 2 oz. He is 97 percentile for his height and just over 50 percentile for his weight.

He is a really happy baby. We all gets lots of smiles. He is doing a great job with holding his head up and just loves the tummy time! He loves being a part of everything. God forbid if we put him in his swing during dinner, he gets very cranky until he gets to sit at the table with us. He is very alert and just loves seeing what is going on.

The kids are still just in love with him. I'll be honest I thought it would wear off by now, but it hasn't. He is the first thing on their minds when they wake and the last when they go to bed. We are slowly adjusting to getting all 3 kids on one schedule. Tyler's schedule is pretty good. He is only getting up once to feed around 2 or 3 and then doesn't get up again until 6 or 7. I am up anyway at that time, so it works for me!

Things are still moving along with construction. The outside wall construction should begin very soon and then we will be finished....for now.

As you can see things are going well. I look forward to updating everyone on Tyler's first year as I did with Alyssa and Mikey. It will be interesting to see who he follows more. Everyone asks me who he resembles more....I say Alyssa here are some pics to decide for yourself.
