Last year was a tad colder, well....actually MUCH colder. This year we had an absolutely perfect crisp fall day! The sun was shining and the temps were delightful to sit out on the streets of downtown Stamford and enjoy the parade. So we started our day early by walking down to the train station and catching the train. (Last the year the traffic was HORRIBLE) So we got there a little early and were able to score front row seats! We had brought folding chairs with us and it was great! The kids had a great time seeing all of the giant balloons! The Grand Marshalls were
Laura Linney, John Benjamin Hickey and Gabourey Sidibe of The Big C on Showtime.
After the parade we walked over and grabbed some late lunch/early dinner. That's where the pics of the kids playing under the table are from!
We had a fabulous time! Alyssa took quite a few of the pictures of the balloons, etc. so that is why they may be a little crooked :)
