Back to School!!!

It's that time of year again! Yesterday was the kids' first day back at school. Alyssa started 2nd grade and Michael started 1st grade. Both kids were super excited. Tyler was not! He was very sad to see his play buddies go off to school. But once he saw how much one-on-one time he got with Mommy, he didn't seem to mind. He loves when I say, "Time for the bus!" He says "Bus, bus, bus" and runs to the driveway. He definitely knows exactly what that means. He gets a HUGE smile as soon as he sees the bus pull up and "Aya and Gee-key", as he says, get off. 

The kids have had a great first 2 days of school. The first was rather hectic with Alyssa taking the bus right from school to gymnastics and then Michael had football practice later that night. We have definitely hit the ground running. But it's all great stuff and the kids love it. They love their teachers, the old friends in their classes and the new friends they are making. It's going to be a great year!
