About a month ago, on an absolutely gorgeous day, I got together with a friend and decided to trek my 2 children along with her 3, down to the Bronx Zoo. Now Laila and I realize how crazy this must sound, 5 kids aged 5 and under, but we were willing to take on the challenge! So glad we did. The kids had a great time.We both bought season passes so we plan on taking many trips to the zoo this summer. (For some background information - Laila's 3 year old twins are in Alyssa's class. Her other son is 5 and is in Kindergarten. They also just happen to live right down the street from us!)
