Halloween!

Well as you all know Halloween just passed. This is the first year that Alyssa REALLY understood what all the hoopla was all about. That just made the experience for Mike and me that much more special!

The night before Halloween we decorated a "candy Halloween house" while watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Alyssa really got into it, making sure that her candy corns were lined up correctly!

ALL DONE!

 Early Halloween morning we carved our pumpkins. Alyssa helped me design mine and hers, however she was a little upset that Daddy made his a "mad pumpkin". (Because of the eyebrows she felt the pumpkin was mad!) 

Man this harder than I remember!

The pumpkin she chose for Mikey was just too small to carve!

 After morning naps, we took a "special bike ride" to the beach. As you can see it was a beautiful day! 

 Later in the evening after dinner.....well.....LET THE TRICK OR TREATING BEGIN! Mum, Papi, and Grandpa came down to enjoy trick or treating with the kids. Alyssa did a great job saying Trick or Treat at every house that had a light on! (Although the first house we went to, she walked right into their house when they opened the door. Thank goodness it was our fantastic neighbors Joe and Cindi!) Here are the two goobers all dressed up! Alyssa was Boo from Monster's Inc. and Mikey was Mike Wazowski also from Monster's Inc. That is Alyssa's favorite movie!

It was a great night and of course Alyssa woke up the next morning asking when she could go trick or treating again!
